Xbox Game Pass is all set to pack some major new releases next month, with Forza Motorsport headlining the library among a slew of other additions. As of now, seven games are going to be added to the lineup, while the entire list of new additions will be known as we get closer to the end of this month.
October will also see the release of Cities: Skylines 2 and The Lamplighters League to the platform. Check out the other games coming to the Game Pass library that will be available on day one below!
The Lamplighters League Will Be Added to Game Pass Library on the 3rd of October
The Lamplighters League is a turn-based strategy game developed by Harebrained Schemes and published by Paradox Interactive. The game is set to be released on the 3rd of October coming exclusively to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S and PC. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can access the game on launch day as the game will be added to the library on the same day.

Game Pass Will Add Warhammer 40K: Darktide on the 4th of October
The newest title in the Warhammer 40000 series, Warhammer 40000: Darktide will be released on Xbox Series X and S consoles on the 4th of October. The game was initially released on the 30th of November last year on Windows PCs. The PC version of the game was highly rated on Metacritic with a rating of 74/100. The game will be added to Game Pass on launch day.
Forza Motorsport Will Be Added To Xbox Game Pass On Launch Day, October 10th
Forza Motorsport is coming out with a new title after the last game in the series released two years back in 2021. The game brings a host of new features like ray tracing in real-time on the track, dynamic time of day, tire wear, better-defined damage, dirt buildup, and a fully procedural cloud system among other dynamic updates to track.

The direct contender to PlayStation’s Gran Turismo, the racing simulator will be seen “pushing the boundaries of realism” as per Chris Esaki, Creative Director at Turn 10 Studios. Forza Motorsport will be added to the Xbox Game Pass library on Day One.
October 24th Will See Cities: Skylines 2 Being Added To Xbox Game Pass
Cities: Skylines will see the game’s sequel, Cities: Skylines II, arrive on the 24th of October as the game comes out on Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Just like the first game, the sequel will also give players a blank plot of land to create an entire city. The first game scored 85/100 on Metacritic, and the sequel will look to outscore that with the updated graphics and an expansive gameplay experience. The game will get added to the Game Pass library on launch day.
Mineko’s Night Market Will Be Added To Xbox Game Pass On the 26th of October
Mineko’s Night Market is a narrative-driven, social simulation adventure game coming out on the 26th of next month. The game celebrates Japanese culture and will see players crafting whimsical items, eating delicious snacks, and ultimately enjoying all the cats. Gamers will pay as Mineko, a curious girl on an island where the Sun Cat, Nikko is worshipped. Players will see themselves complete various jobs, and manage their daily activities for the weekly Night Market!
Mineko’s Night Market is also a Day One launch on Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass Will Add Headbangers Rhythm Royale To The Library on October 31st
Headbangers Rhythm Royale is described on their official website as being a light-hearted, rhythm battle royale game where players will join 29 other Pigeons and compete against each other. Players will compete to win the coveted title of Master Headbanger, as they compete in musical minigames, use powerups to topple other players, and finally collect Crumbs to customize their pigeons!
The game will look to attract gamers of all ages and will be released on the 31st of October on all consoles and PCs. Headbangers will also be on Xbox Game Pass on release day!

Jusant Will Also Be Added To Xbox Game Pass Library On the 31st of October
The final game on the list, Jusant will also be added to Xbox Game Pass on launch day, 31st of October. In an action-puzzle climbing game, players will be seen scaling immeasurably tall towers and ascending to new heights alongside their watery companion. Gamers must master their climbing tools, as they find their way to diverse biomes while solving puzzles on the way.
