Scarlett Johansson and Emma Stone are two of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood. The stars have appeared in several groundbreaking movies forging their resume with numerous accolades. Johansson had an impressive baking with the Marvel Studios collecting a whopping $75 million for her appearance in nine MCU movies. But her Black Widow paycheck, although not satisfactory to the Avengers star, was astounding taking home $20 million for the film.

Notably, Stone has claimed her space in the box office as well. The actor, reportedly, got  $26 million for her role as Mia in Damien Chazelle’s musical romance La La Land. Of course, she gave her soul to the movie as she went on to win an Oscar for her role in the movie. Also, the movie earned $472 million marking it a success both on a critical level and commercially. Jennifer Lawrence is not far behind, the actor has reportedly earned a $20 million paycheck for her role in Francis Lawrence’s thriller Red Sparrow. Her appearance in Adam McKay’s Netflix satire Don’t Look Up has extended her wealth adding a  $25 million to her name. Still, they are far from claiming Cameron Diaz’s spot.

Diaz has been a successful actor dominating the industry for decades with her fame and success. Although she is less frequent now, the actor has been one of the box-office queens. Famous for her roles in comedy and action movies, the combined movies in her career grossed over $3 billion at the domestic box office. The actor has been the fifth-highest-grossing actress in the United States.

Diaz has also made astounding paychecks for her movies. The actor has earned a humongous $42 million paycheck for her role in Jake Kasdan’s R-rated 2011 comedy flick Bad Teacher. The movie did considerably well at the box office earning  $216 million worldwide.

It was not really easy for Diaz to play the character, she told Collider as he jumped from action films to this completely different role,

“I’ll tell you what’s really exhausting: shooting the action movie for 6 months and then going directly into shooting the human id running rampant,”

“I went 6 months of the action movie, had about 4 days off, and went straight into this movie. I was tired. I was like, ‘God, I should have taken a nap.”

Diaz is all set to appear in Seth Gordon-directed upcoming Netflix movie Back in Action, starring opposite MCU star Jamie Foxx.
