Ngannou recently posted a video of himself on Instagram doing preparations for the fight, and the caption has already created a frenzy among fans. He chose Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr.’s iconic line – “And I … am Iron Man” from the recent MCU team-up spectacle Avengers: Endgame.
Not just that, Ngannou tagged Tyson Fury in his post to hype the oncoming battle between the two heavyweights. This will mark Ngannou’s debut into the world of boxing, said USA News.

Ngannou, 36, has been wanting to take on the heavyweight boxer Fury for three years now, according to reports. His motivation was clearly seen in the recent workout video that showed him strengthening his shoulders as he lifted the iron rod with a weighted plate on it, quoting Robert Downey Jr.’s line.
Fury fought his last match in December last year and won against Derek Chisora. On his upcoming fight, the boxer commented –
“This guy is supposed to be the hardest puncher in the world, but let’s see how he reacts when he gets hit by the Big GK [Gypsy King]. I can’t wait to get back out there under the lights.”
Ngannou’s video attracted Tyson Fury’s response as he posted on Twitter, “They’ve all tried, they’ve all failed. I am inevitable Francis.” To add more to this, Mike Tyson replied, “We’re coming for you @Tyson_Fury.”
Mike Tyson Training Francis Ngannou To Win
Ngannou, as Mike Tyson said on The Jim Rowe Show, is one of the scariest punchers he has seen (via MMA Fighting). But not just hyping the match, Tyson is also coaching the former MMA knockout specialist.
“[Francis] punches like God knows who, man. He’s an athlete, he moves quicker, works with his speed, and — listen man he only has to land one or two. Tyson’s never been in the ring with somebody that can punch this hard.”
Although Ngannou is nicknamed – The Predator (in the ring), the boxing ring is expected to have a few surprises for him. He is enthusiastic nonetheless; he said –
“After becoming the undisputed MMA heavyweight champion, this is my opportunity to make that dream come true and cement my position as the ‘baddest’ man on the planet,”
The upcoming event will mark the second most exciting brawl since Floyd Mayweather went up against Conor McGregor and won.
