Many, if not all, horror gamers will know of the majorly popular Capcom franchise Resident Evil. Still, not many will know that a ninth entry in the franchise is currently being developed to be released sometime in the future, and thanks to the well know Silent Hill leaker Dusk Golem we now have some information in regards to when this new addition to the franchise may be making its debut.

When will Resident Evil 9 release according to leaks?
According to leaker Dusk Golem, Resident Evil 9 is looking towards a 2025 release window at this current time, although as with any game, this can change over the next year. Still, so far, the information is pointing towards a reveal in 2024 after a release of a “major” game from Capcom which will be getting announced by the end of this year. As of now, we do not have a lot of information in regard to what the story of Resident Evil 9 will be. Still, many fans of the series are pretty eager to get their hands on it, especially after the many cliff-hangers left by Resident Evil Village.
This isn’t the only game potentially releasing from developer Capcom over the next few years, as many fans are eagerly waiting for a few titles to get announcements over the coming months as they haven’t received much content over the past few years. Many gamers are currently anticipating that the announcement at the end of 2023 will be for either a future Devil May Cry game or another instalment of Monster Hunter, and as of yet, no one has denied that this may be the case. Still, Monster Hunter has been releasing a steady flow of content and may release more soon, but it is doubtful.
Is this leaked information reliable?
At the moment, we do believe that this information is trustworthy as Dusk Golem has been quite accurate in other leaks in regards to game franchises like Silent Hill; they provided some information in regards to a Silent Hill 2 remake which is currently on the way and has also been providing information on other horror franchises which have been getting some information in regards to leaks of future remakes of older classic horror games which will be released in a few years.
Until further information is provided, this is all the information we currently have on the Resident Evil 9, and hopefully, we will gain some more leaked information or a reveal trailer in the new year.
