Within this new DLC, players will gain access to Ada Wong and will experience her version of the Resident Evil 4 story, which takes place before Leon S. Kennedy even arrives as Ada is already attempting to infiltrate a cult that has taken place in rural Spain and steal an artefact being held by this cult known as The Amber, but during her time on this island, she comes across numerous complications even running into Leon at pivotal points of the story.

Coming with this new DLC will also be a new tool that Ada Wong will be able to use to quickly traverse and battle enemies that are skulking around, as she will be equipped with a grappling gun that can be used to access areas thought to be inaccessible or to quickly shorten distances between her and her enemies creating a unique experience for players.

What Other Content Will Be Coming With This Upcoming DLC For Resident Evil 4?

Two new characters will be coming to The Mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 4

For those who aren’t satisfied with playing as Ada Wong in her own DLC, there is some more good news: The Mercenaries mode that is already available in Resident Evil 4 will also be gaining two new characters that players can choose from as they battle through waves of enemies to try and survive and beat their highest scores and these two characters will excite many long term fans.

Since this new DLC is based around Ada Wong and her own story in Resident Evil 4, it would make sense that she would become a character in The Mercenaries mode within Resident Evil 4. Still, there was a more shocking surprise character reveal as it has been announced that Albert Wesker will also be making an appearance as a playable character within The Mercenaries mode.

The reasoning behind this is that Albert Wesker has a hand in Ada’s story as he is the reason she is there in the first place; as he has sent Ada to collect The Amber due to his obsession with this artefact, so it would make sense that he would also be included within this DLC as a playable character even if it is only in The Mercenaries mode.
