If there were to be a Mount Rushmore of pop music icons, Elvis Presley would certainly be up there. Such is the significance and achievement of the American cultural icon. However, his granddaughter Riley Keough has had a tough life. From intrusive media to family problems and lawsuits at home, Keough has had it rough.
Nevertheless, with the birth of her beautiful daughter last year, she finally seems to have joy in her life. Keough and her husband, Ben Smith Peterson, chose surrogacy to have their first baby and had a good reason for the same.
The Real Reason Behind Riley Keough Choosing Surrogacy
As per recent reports, Elvis Presley‘s granddaughter Riley Keough too has revealed that she opted for surrogacy over natural birth. This comes a year after her daughter, Tupelo Storm, was born, whose birth she kept a secret for quite a long time.
Keough, who married Ben Smith Peterson in 2015, a year after being engaged to him, has finally opened up to the media about her daughter. She disclosed how her baby girl was born in 2022, all the while praising all the surrogate mothers around the world.
Revealing why she chose surrogacy over natural birth for having a child, Riley Keough said that it was because of her ill health and autoimmune problem. Thus, despite being a woman able to carry her baby, she decided on this alternate option as the best way forward and succeeded with this alternate method as well.
