The Devil Fruits are a signature One Piece trope. The mysterious fruits grant their user many different abilities. While Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit powers are well-known, he is not even near the power levels of the actual Devil Fruit heavy-hitters of the One Piece Universe.
The String-String Fruit
Donquixote Doflamingo uses his innate Haki abilities and his twisted personality to become a force to be reckoned with in the One Piece Universe’s Underworld. But what made him an absolute legend is his powerful devil fruit ability. At first glance, the String-String Fruit has pretty basic powers. It allows its user to create strings out of thin air. But Doflamingo uses the String-String fruit for a variety of purposes including the skill to attach them to people and control them like life size puppets. The powers granted by this particular fruit also make one slice through buildings and bullets like hot knife through butter. Another ability of the String-String Fruit is the power to heal the user. It can also create a prison that can cover an entire city.
The Paw-Paw Fruit
The Devil Fruit which gives its user padded paws for palms. That is just so damn adorable. Apart from the obvious cuteness, the power of the Paw-Paw Fruit gives its user the ability to deflect any attack. It works on any object. Whether it is a punch, kick, ghosts, lasers, projectiles coming at light speed, and even feelings and emotions like pain and sadness. The Paw-Paw Fruit’s powers grant the user an absolute defense. Bartholomew Kuma, the user of the Paw-Paw Fruit’s powers, has shown the ability to transport him-self and others at the speed of light and made devastating air bullets. Another skill is the power of air compression and creating a pressurized bomb that can take down someone as strong as Little Oars.

The Glint-Glint Fruit
Out of the three original admirals, Admrial Kizaru packs the greatest punch. We would go so far as to say he is the most powerful Admiral ever, possessing an ability that far surpasses any of the newer generation of admirals have to offer. The Glint-Glint Fruit is a Logia Type Fruit. It allows Kizaru to turn himself into an entity of pure light. His laser manipulation powers give him an offensive arsenal of an entire armada. Admiral Kizaru is capable of traveling at the speed of light and use his power to enhance the striking force of the infamous Pacifistas.
The Bird-Bird Fruit
While Logia Type Fruits make their users access a certain force of nature, Zoan Type Fruits turn the ones that eat it into animal-human hybrids. The Bird-Bird Fruit was eaten by Whitebeard’s First Commander Marco. The fruit turned him into a human Phoenix. As with a phoenix, Marco gains the power of flight and the ability to use a mystical blue flame. This flame can heal him-self as well as give his team mates a regenerative healing factor. Zoan type fruits also gives their users enhanced physical attributes. The Bird-Bird Fruit, being one of the most powerful Devil Fruits, gives Marco the Phoenix a strength that could only be dwarfed by someone like Whitebeard.
The Tremor-Tremor Fruit
The Devil Fruit that made Edward Newgate into the legend that was Whitebeard, the Tremor-Tremor Fruit’s powers can create powerful shockwaves. The shockwaves can be generated in water, air, or earth. Whitebeard, the Strongest Man in the World and the World’s Greatest Pirate, could not find it in him to control the Devil Fruit’s abilities. He has used it to literally crack air, flip continents and landmasses, and focusing seismic vibrations into a single punch that packs the strength of a devastating earthquake into a fist.

The Dragon-Dragon Fruit
Kaido has been teased in One Piece for years. But it was only now that we got to see him and his powers in action. To be honest, we were starting to consider Kaido would end up becoming a dud. Fortunately, we were wrong. The Dragon-Dragon Fruit grants Kaido the ability to transform into a Dragon. His sheer size was greater than the entire Wano region. Easily dwarfing Pica, a single breath from Kaido was enough to tear down most of a country. Kaido was essentially a God. The Dragon-Dragon Fruit is by far the most powerful Zoan type Devil Fruit we have ever seen.
The Soul-Soul Fruit
Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, claims that the Soul Soul Fruit is a more powerful version of the Shadow-Shadow Fruit. The latter allows Gekko Moriah to create zombie armies by cutting off a portion of people’s shadows. The Soul-Soul Fruit does the same but it uses people’s souls and it can create literally anything from the soul portions cut off from the source. Big Mom uses her Soul-Soul powers to create living embodiments of fire and the weather. She has talking furniture, sentient animals, hills and mountains, and even a Pirate Ship that looks like a rubber hose, all created with the help of her Soul-Soul powers. The only demerit of her powers is that her enemies need to fear her so that she could steal their souls.
The Rumble-Rumble Fruit
The Skypiea Arc of One Piece really hit the ball out of the park. It introduced us to Enel, the wielder of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit’s powers. Raki states that this particular Devil Fruit is actually the most powerful Logia Type Fruit in One Piece. Enel’s powers of lightning generation and control are so damn potent that his Devil Fruit abilities alone put his bounty above 500 Million Berries. His lightning attacks can reach up to a power of 2 billion volts. The Rumble-Rumble Fruit allows Enel to move at the speed of lighting, change his size, manipulate metal, resurrect him-self by jump-starting his own heart after it stops, and listen to electrical sound waves in the air. The Devil Fruit’s only weakness is someone who is made out of something that does not conduct electricity like wood or rubber. Anyone coming to your mind?

The Op-Op Fruit
The Op-Op Fruit has a strange but potent power. It is probably the most overpowered fruit on this list. The fruit gives it user the power to create an Operating Room made out of pure light. The Surgeon of Death, its current user, can use the Operating Room to alter reality and bend the will of the universe. He can cut anything, displace any object, and electrocute anyone, and even change a person’s personalities as long as they remain within the confines of the Operating Room. The only limitation the fruit has is the wielder’s stamina. The Op-Op fruit can also grant immortality to its user by sacrificing other people’s lives.
