Some movies contain such enthralling performances and powerful narratives that they stand the test of time and become true classics. One such movie was the five-Oscar-winning masterpiece The Deer Hunter, which starred Christopher Walken. While this film did indeed solidify Walken’s legacy, it unintentionally had some contrasting effect on Oscar Isaac and ruined his enjoyment of the cherished Transformers movie series.

But Oscar Isaac‘s love for the beloved Transformers (film series) was actually destroyed by the gripping “Russian Roulette scene” of The Deer Hunter. During his earlier visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers, the actor, 44, admitted:

“That really made an impression. The whole Christopher Walken Russian Roulette scene.”

The actor went on to describe how that “Russian Roulette” scene affected the Transformer series:

“I think after The Deer Hunter, Transformers was a little difficult to go back to.”
