One Piece: Admiral Kizaru Might Show His Real Powers Against Luffy After Eiichiro Oda Sidelined Him for Years

In One Piece, the main character Monkey D. Luffy encountered numerous formidable foes, both among his fellow pirates and notably the World Government and its Navy armada. This encompasses different admirals, vice admirals, and even chief admirals, although Luffy typically evaded their anger with minimal difficulty.

For example, Luffy survived Admiral Akainu’s attack during the Marineford battle, but the possibility remains that Luffy and the Marines could intersect anew as the long-awaited war develops.

In the final saga, commencing with the Egghead Island arc. Luffy’s crew is already in conflict with the Navy, with the lab-made Seraphim participating in battle and York betrays them during a crucial juncture.

This situation is already challenging for Dr. Vegapunk and the Straw Hats. But now admiral Kizaru/Borsalino is about to leap into the fray personally, armed with his dazzling Glint-Glint Fruit powers. He is overdue to shine in One Piece, literally and otherwise. And needs to catch up with what his coeval Akainu and Kuzan have already done.

Admiral Kizaru Needs To Catch Up With Admiral Akainu and Kuzan

Every fan of One Piece is assured that admiral Kizaru, also known as Borsalino has secured his position as one of the Navy’s three foremost admirals. Formed an elemental trio alongside Admiral Aokiji, who possesses icy abilities, and Admiral Akainu, known for his scorching magma powers.

Kizaru and his two comrades stood resolutely against the attack of the Whitebeard pirate fleet during the decisive Marineford clash before One Piece’s time skip. With all three unleashing their formidable Devil Fruits to repel the pirate armada.

However, even during this moment, Kizaru seemed to be the least formidable among the trio, as Akainu left the most significant impact with his slaying of Portgas D. Ace, and even Aokiji achieved more than Kizaru with his ice-infused Devil Fruit powers.

Presently, Akainu is set to become Luffy’s most formidable adversary, holding the position of the World Government’s top-ranking official and warrior. While, in a recent unexpected turn of events, Kuzan has joined the Blackbeard pirates.

Both individuals are creating significant impact and are poised to become Luffy’s most challenging foes to date. And until recent One Piece manga chapters were released, Kizaru was entirely absent from the equation.

Admiral Kizaru has Best Chance to Shine in One Piece

In terms of the storyline, if not in terms of power, Admiral Kizaru has consistently come across as the least influential and captivating Navy admiral. He seemed to be present mainly to complete a trio of antagonists in the anime, providing concerns for Luffy and Whitebeard.

Over the last several hundred chapters of the One Piece manga, it was easy to disregard Kizaru. This is unfortunate, considering the untapped potential that Kizaru still possesses.

However, in a sudden twist, Admiral Kizaru is now making a return to the fray and has the potential to turn the entire final saga on its head as he takes on the Straw Hats and Dr. Vegapunk in person.

With his dialogue, philosophy, and formidable Glint-Glint Fruit abilities, Kizaru could potentially transform into a dominant villain whose actions leave an everlasting impact on the world, but only if this possible progression is managed appropriately.
