Obi-Wan Kenobi stars have come forward to speak in support of the co-star, Moses Ingram. The actress has been facing backlash on Twitter and even received hateful texts from the ‘fans’ of the Star Wars franchise. Moses Ingram even posted a story with screenshots of all the hateful and racist messages she has received, followed by a video. A number of fans came to speak in favor of the actress. The character she is playing in the series is Reva and she is one of the key antagonists of the season. Now, Hayden Christensen also speaks in favor of the actress.

Hayden Christensen appreciates Moses Ingram’s acting in Obi-Wan Kenobi
In a conversation with ET, the actor spoke about the recent events. He said, “I’ve heard a little bit about that and, obviously, it really saddens me. I think the world of Moses. She’s not only a lovely person and human being but an incredibly talented actress.” Hayden Christensen is reprising his role of Darth Vader in the Disney+ series.

He continued to talk about Moses Ingram as Reva. He praised the actress. He added, “The first time I saw the first couple of episodes, I was blown away by her performance and just thought that the subtleties and nuances that she brought to this character were there and really impressive. So, I mean, I hope by the end of the series, people are coming around. I think she’s done a great job and I think [Reva] is an important character and people will come to realize that.”
Many have spoken in favor of Moses Ingram on Twitter
Apart from the huge rally of fan tweets taking over Twitter, many celebrities came forward to speak in favor of Moses Ingram. Including the official handle of Star Wars and Ewan McGregor, who is the lead in the series and one of the producers. Star Wars wrote on their official Twitter, “We are proud to welcome Moses Ingram to the Star Wars family and excited for Reva’s story to unfold. If anyone intends to make her feel in any way unwelcome, we have only one thing to say: we resist.”

Ewan McGregor posted a video speaking against the racist comments. He said, “As the leading actor in the series, as executive producer on the series, [know] that we stand with Moses. We love Moses. And if you’re sending her bullying messages, you’re no Star Wars fan in my mind. There’s no place for racism in this world.”
Obi-Wan Kenobi is now streaming on Disney+.
