Sometimes many might even try to send subtle messages disguised as fashion. And this time it was the celebrated actress Helen Mirren who was accused of sending out a secret message.

Helen Mirren has been in a fair share of controversies herself. Well, one can hardly expect her not to given her 60-year-long career in the film industry. She recently attended the Cannes film festival wearing a splendid blue dress with matching blue-dyed hair. Looking absolutely stunning as she does, it was her accessory that caught the fancy of many. The black bamboo fan that she was carrying had the hashtag #WorthIt written in bold letters which made Heard’s fans think she was showing support for Amber Heard.

“I am a L’Oréal ambassador. They are a sponsor of the festival, and quite truthfully, I picked up a fan because I was hot. ‘Because You’re Worth It’ is the official L’Oréal Paris slogan.”

She quickly denied the rumors and cleared the air that her support was meant for the brand and not for the Aquaman actress. Mirren was attending the premiere of Johnny Depp’s Jeanne du Barry, which marks his return to the big screen after years. Hence, Heard fans wrongly theorized that Mirren might be secretly showing support to Heard.

The Heard-Depp defamation trial might have ended with Johnny Depp being a clear victor, however, it seems Heard fans are still sour over it. The plethora of controversies and hate continue to follow Depp even after the trial. During the highly publicized event last year, many Amber Heard fans took to Twitter with the hashtag #AmberIsWorthIt to show support for the actress.

When Mirren walked the red carpet with the fan, which did not go along with her dress at all, Heard fans started declaring that Helen is supporting the Aquaman star. This speculation was further backed by the fact that Mirren once featured with Heard for L’Oreal Paris’ 2021 Fashion Week.
