One Piece is a Shonen anime some of us have grown up with. Following the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew, the anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s pirate manga first aired in the US  almost 20 years ago.

And OG fans are undoubtedly excited about the live-action adaptation of One Piece coming to Netflix in just a few weeks.

But, do you know? The upcoming One Piece series is rated TV-14 which, according to Netflix, means it may contain elements of language, nudity, self-harm, smoking, and of course, “violence.” Even being a superhero series, Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight is also rated TV-14 LA.
