The Most Talked Character Design after Boruto‘s Timeskip Period
With so many new changes in the manga, Sarada Uchiha’s new character design was the one fans were talking the most about. It is revealed that in chapter 81, she is set to have short hair, Uchiha clan earrings, and a choker.
In addition, she is also set to have a new attire. Previously, her attire consisted of a sleeveless buttoned red dress bound by a yellow tie and a white belt. However, in the updated design, she can be seen wearing a black tube top, with a red lining on it.
On top of that, she can be seen wearing a cloak, the colors of which resemble that of an Akatsuki cloak.

Fans have taken Things into Their Own Hands
Fans were left captivated by the new announcement, anxiously awaiting the upcoming manga. The manga was set to release later in August 2023. In addition, they loved Sarada’s new character design and praised Mangaka Ikemoto for the design, as it now really suits Sarada’s character development.
However, several fans criticized the new and bold character design of Sarada. Many fans think that the high heels and stylish jacket are impractical for battle, especially for ninjas. Some even conveyed that short hair doesn’t suit her appearance.
In response, the Boruto community has shown its creative side, offering alternative redesigns for Sarada.
A popular post gained immense popularity on the “Boruto” subreddit, where a user shared Sarada’s redesigned appearance with the caption, “Redesigned Sarada based on what people disliked about it.”
The fan’s design features Sarada with longer hair, and slightly longer shorts, and wears the jacket properly, with the choker and earrings removed. The subreddit post received a lot of praise, showing that many fans approved of it.
