The freshman journey of the MCU is about to begin On June 8, as Kamala Khan will soon hop from print to screen in Ms. Marvel on Disney+. Already the critic’s reaction has been very much positive, there’s been huge fan controversy going on the decision to change the MCU’s powers. Interestingly, Kamala Khan’s powers are quite similar to Reed Richards’ when it comes to elasticity.
In the pages of Marvel comics follows both Mr. Fantastic and Kamala Khan can change their body mass and stretch their limbs. When fans wanted to see her new powers, the decision was made to change Kamala’s powers to manifesting light, but also many fans were not happy with the decision while also pointing out that it could be an action to contrast the heroine ahead of Marvel Studios’ upcoming Fantastic Four comeback.

TV Producer Responds to How MCU’s Fantastic Four Will Impact Ms. Marvel’s Powers
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige himself has referred to the change to Kamala Khan’s powers to relate to her origin and to better suit her team-up film, The Marvels, about to release in 2023. And also about Reed Richards’ shocking cameo in Doctor Strange 2, there are still rumors that Marvel’s first set had something to do with the controversial change. But now, with only a few hours left for Ms. Marvel’s debut, Marvel Studios finally came up with an answer.

In an interview with The Direct, Ms. Marvel producer Sana Amanat talked about whether Mr. Fantastic’s cameo in Doctor Strange 2 and Marvel Studios’ upcoming Fantastic Four film, allotted to the decision to remove Kamala Khan’s extension powers in the MCU.
“Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t think so. I mean, from my understanding, it was kind of linked to the type of story that we wanted to tell with Kamala, and not only linkage to other MCU events, but also to the sense of history that she has and the relationship to her family, linking the powers to her family’s past. I think that was really the bigger idea.”
They also asked, asked whether there’s a cosmic line between Ms. Marvel’s new abilities and that of Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau, who are the members of The Marvels, replied:
“Um, I don’t know if I’m allowed to talk about that. For The Marvels? I don’t know. They’re all in it.”
Ms. Marvel is set to debut on June 8 on Disney+.
