Marvel’s Secret Invasion Seemingly Confirms Agents of SHIELD Returning Back to MCU With Ming-Na Wen and Chloe Bennet

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is again coming out with another brand-new television series that will feature Samuel L. Jackson in the role fans would argue that he was born for, Nick Fury. The anticipation surrounding Secret Invasion and its impending release has been monumental, and fans cannot wait to watch it.

The plot behind Secret Invasion has a lot of potential as well- a different race from another universe invading Earth and getting into almost every important part of it. Sign fans up because this also means that it will need a collective effort from every character in the MCU to battle such a wide-reaching threat, and it seems like the TV series and the actors themselves, has already teased the return of two interesting characters.

Secret Invasion Might See The Return Of Two Fan-Favorite Characters

One of the privileges of being a fan of a superhero franchise is the number of characters that you can choose to idolize or make your favorite. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has no shortage of such characters, and each of them has their own unique personality as well.

Fans end up loving these characters so much that they just cannot bear to watch the movies or episodes in TV series where their favorite characters have to be taken out of the narrative to help the story progress. However, the MCU has a knack for bringing back some of them- and this time they might bring back The Cavalry, and possibly Quake as well.

That’s right, MCU’s Secret Invasion, the upcoming six-episode long television miniseries starring Samuel L. Jackson‘s Nick Fury in the lead role has ended up giving fans a subtle teaser regarding the return of Melinda May into the MCU after all the work put in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

However, this is not the only character from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that fans will (probably) be getting. Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, and their return into the MCU, is one that fans would be super-excited to hear about.

Bennet stumbled upon a tweet on Twitter that tried to belittle her acting skills and undermine her work, to which she gave an amazing comeback while also subtly hinting that the user might go on to regret saying what they said-

This tweet just came about in the last week of January, and fans can only scratch their heads hoping that Bennet is hinting at a return as Quake once more, possibly in Secret Invasion.

Melinda May’s Return Might Have Been Set In Stone, Fans Have Their Fingers Crossed

Ming Na-Wen’s performance as Melinda May is a spectacle. Many fans who have gone through the entirety of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would argue that she is possibly the best character in that TV series.

Her no-nonsense attitude and swagger have earned Na-Wen’s character a big spot in the list of characters that Marvel should definitely bring back. Fans would be utterly disappointed if even after the recent promo teaser for Secret Invasion giving fans hope of her return, she didn’t make it into the upcoming TV series at all.

Be clear! –

We must keep believing-

Gotta see it to believe it-

It hurts-

The MCU will really have to hit the nail on bringing Melinda May back for good, or at least Quake, with Secret Invasion. If none of them show up, a huge backlash might occur!

Secret Invasion is set for a release in early 2023 and will be available on Disney+.
