WandaVision can be considered to be one of the most popular series that Marvel ever created. From the humourous American sitcom setting to a dark secret too sad to be uttered, the series depicted loss, tragedy, and coping with life.
Alleged rumors of Marvel eyeing Paul Bettany’s Vision for a series titled Vision Quest are circulating around the internet, which may also see the return of Elizabeth Olson’s Scarlet Witch.
Will Scarlet Witch Return Along With Vision?
In a YouTube video wherein John Rocha and Jeff Sneider gathered to discuss the upcoming Marvel news, the talk of a Vision series took place. During the run of the video, Jeff Sneider talked about the West Coast Avengers and how Vision will eventually be going there in the end.
The film critic also stated that he had heard rumors of a series based on Vision titled Vision Quest is all set to take place which may bring the return of Elizabeth Olsen as The Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany as White Vision. John Rocha further gave evidence to the theory by stating that Jeremy Renner is indeed interested in reprising his role as Hawkeye in the MCU and this big event could bring many Avengers back into the fold. Jeff Sneider also claimed that a writer’s room will be gathered next week to start work on Vision Quest.
Jeff Sneider further stated that during the end of WandaVision, the mysterious White Vision appeared with not much explanation for the audience. A possible theory states that Vision will be kidnapped and his memory erased while falling into the wrong hands. This could set the premise of Vision Quest along with the Scarlet Witch, who was thought dead in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Olsen’s character may once again be back into the fold of the MCU.
Scarlet Witch’s Return Backed By Further Proof
Although considered dead in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, surely Elizabeth Olsen starrer Scarlet Witch will be alive during the later phases of the MCU. Jeremy Renner’s hint of returning as Hawkeye to lead the West Coast Avengers may be a hint of more characters returning. John Rocha also stated that during the end of WandaVision the U.S. Agents were all in on the Westview conspiracy. The U.S. Agents will also be appearing in the upcoming series Thunderbolt.
“They are kinda laying seeds for that already. So i’m not surprised if that’s the story they are going with” stated John Rocha.
Jeff Sneider picked up the conversation stating, “there’s no guarantee that the show even gets made blah blah blah. But this is coming from a GOOD source who’s been accurate in the past”. Although no matter how good the source is, there have been no official announcements or news regarding any Vision series released by Marvel.
WandaVision is available to stream on Disney+.
