Marvel Confirms Wolverine's Healing Factor is Strong Enough to Survive Ghost Rider's Hellfire in the Most Painful Fashion Possible

Wolverine is the most popular of the X-Men characters because of his ultimate tough guy personality. He has many unique powers, including superhuman strength, reflexes, enhanced senses, tracking abilities, and adamantium claws.

Along with these mutant abilities, he also has exceptional healing mastery that makes him an unbeatable opponent for anyone.

His healing powers allow him to quickly heal his wounds and slow aging (through regeneration of damaged bodily tissues). Because of this, Wolverine has been able to survive some of the worst pain and situations that no one in the Marvel Universe could have ever sustained.

The Time When Wolverine Becomes Hellverine

Long ago, Wolverine and Ghost Rider joined forces to rescue a young boy who had been under demonic possession. And now, in Benjamin Percy’s Wolverine #36, they are delving deeper into their earlier mission. They have retraced the danger’s trail to Logan’s past enemies – the Weapon Plus program.

A concealed division of Weapon Plus is engaged in mystical trials that forge sentient instruments of destruction, which is much like their earlier experimentation on Wolverine.

Marvel enthusiasts are already aware that the upcoming chapter will witness Wolverine assuming the mantle of the new Hellverine, who attains his own version of Ghost Rider’s abilities. But, before this transformation, he has to experience the crucible of the Spirit of Vengeance’s inferno.

Wolverine Knows How to Use His Power At Fullest

The extraordinary regenerative abilities of Wolverine can restore his body if his bone marrow is not harmed. This way, he blows up this ability by allowing Ghost Rider to burn the skin and flesh off his face as long as they reach their intended destination.

Moving at “nine G’s and a thousand degrees,” Logan manages to trail Weapon Plus in a manner that can’t be done by any other hero. This situation shows that Logan’s powers not only allow him post-battle recovery but also unlock options for him (that are impossible for others).

While Wolverine’s healing doesn’t directly allow him to traverse huge distances at great speeds. So, it’s important to note that those who lack this ability wouldn’t be able to ride the Hellcycle.

Logan has mastered how to utilize his healing powers and has willingly sacrificed his body to achieve something that would otherwise be unrealistic.

Wolverine #36 is available on Marvel Comics.
