The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding its circle and it does not look like it is going to stop any time soon. From Ms. Marvel to America Chavez, comic book characters are one by one making their entry into the superhero universe. And now, the MCU is all set to showcase the Fantastic Four, one of the most iconic teams of Marvel.
The film is expected to release in 2025 as part of Phase 6. Now, this won’t be the first time the Fantastic Four will be making their appearance in live-action as. However, since the MCU is known for going all out for its films, Fantastic Four might beat its previous versions. While fans are super excited for the film, they are finding themselves in confusion as according to a scoop, an iconic villain of the franchise will not be in the film.

Is Silver Surfer Not in MCU’s Fantastic Four?
According to a report by an industry scooper, Can We Get Some Toast, Silver Surfer aka Norrin Radd will not be in the upcoming MCU film, Fantastic Four. However, the scooper also states that the character will have its own project “stem out of” Fantastic, despite him not being in the film. Apparently, Silver Surfer will not be a special like Werewolf By Night and will instead be either a movie or a Disney+ show. The scooper also reported that Silver Surfer’s project will be set after the events of Fantastic Four.
Since another scooper, MyTImeToShineH, reported that Antonio Banderas is in talks to play Galactus in the film, fans are pretty confused. The confusion is thanks to the fact that Galactus and Silver Surfer are often paired together as the latter is the former’s, Herald. Fans are wondering how the film could have Galactus but not Silver Surfer.
Previously, insider Jeff Sneider stated on The Hot Mic that the film will have both antagonists in the film. Well, we don’t know what to believe!

Another Fantastic Four Myth Busted
After getting spotted with Matt Shakman, the director of Fantastic Four, fans were confirmed that Mila Kunis was going to be MCU’s Sue Storm. Kunis had gone to a deli with the filmmaker and since then fans have been waiting on an official confirmation about the actress’ role in the film. However, Kunis shut down all the rumors on The Late Late Show stating,
“Apparently if you go to lunch with somebody who is also in the industry, you guys start working together according to the internet…We went out to a deli and had lunch together and the next day I was somehow in Fantastic Four. I am not in Fantastic Four, but I know who is.”
Well, obviously, Kunis is not going to reveal who is going to be in the film as she does not want to get in trouble with “the mouse” aka Disney.
The excitement for the film is increasing with every rumor and report. We cannot wait to see who the Studios have chosen to bring Marvel’s First Family to life.
Fantastic Four is expected to release on February 14, 2025.
