Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, is a remaster of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon (2013) which was released for Nintendo 3DS.
Both this revitalization and the original game, along with the entire franchise, are well praised by fans of the company and lovers of Mario and his friends. In fact, Mario is becoming even more popular following the massive success of his recent animated movie.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will have online and local multiplayer for up to four players. Although the online mode guarantees access to all, the local mode is limited to the ScareScraper, which despite being frustrating, still promises a lot of fun, as in the tradition Mario games.
Then, players will be able to control the green-suited plumber again in five different ghost hunting missions.

The original version, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, is an action-adventure title that was developed by Next Level Games as a direct sequel to the Nintendo GameCube’s Luigi’s Mansion.
In the missions, Luigi progresses through each of the mansions with different themes, in search of pieces of the Black Moon, capturing ghosts along the way. Afterwards, the stages can be revisited to beat records or look for secrets that have not yet been discovered.
The mustachioed man wanders around the scenes with his Poltergust 5000 (an improved version of his old ghost vacuum cleaner, the Poltergust 3000) and the Dual Scream, basically a Nintendo DS that shows the map of the mansions.
In this game, Luigi also uses the Strolbulb, a flashlight to paralyze ghosts, making capture easier, and the Dark Light Device that allows Luigi to reveal hidden items, as well as ghostly tracks.
As players progress with Luigi through the mansions, they collect coins, notes, and gold bars that can be used to upgrade their equipment up to seven times.
So if you’re excited to return to the mansions in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, save some money and your Nintendo Switch memory for summer next year.
