The netizens are having some serious questions about the Grand Inquisitor’s look in two different shows. Multiple fan reactions are popping up on social media as some fans found that the Grand Inquisitor’s looks in Ahsoka and Obi-Wan Kenobi are very different.
For some fans the Grand Inquisitor’s look is far better than then the look given to the grand inquisitor in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Some fans are defending the particular looks as people noted that it can be the demand of the script as well.

Netizens claim Ahsoka’s Grand Inquisitor looks better
The Stars Wars fictional character the Grand Inquisitor has pulled a strong fan base through his evil antagonist side. His look is one of the reasons why he is always on the top of the best villains in the Stars Wars franchise. People online are having mixed reactions as some discussed the antagonist’s look in Ahsoka and Obi-Wan Kenobi. While one fan stated that the quality of the visuals is getting while other netizens explained that he doesn’t see much difference in the look.
One netizen shared his opinion, claiming that part of the problem is that the grand inquisitor does not resemble the species seen in Revenge of the Sith. Other Grand Inquisitor fans stated that the editing quality in Obi-Wan Kenobi was extremely bad and even the camera work wasn’t up to the mark.

The designer of Grand Inquisitor explained how he designed the character
Brad Elliot who designed the character of the Grand Inquisitor shared how he developed the look of this character. He also mentioned that the writers asked him to remember specific things before creating the look. In an interview, Elliot that the producer Dave Filloni told him,
“Imagine the live-action came first, and that the animated material was an exaggerated version of the live-action.”
The character’s facial features in the animated series were much more similar to an alien-type creature than a human. While talking about the other aspects of the Grand Inquisitor’s look, Elliot said,
“This gave us permission to keep the form factor of the props established in animation, but to control the proportions and to bring them more in line with props made for human hands versus animated ones.”

Elliot also mentioned that the fan feedback was a bit disappointing for him and the makers as the look didn’t make please the fans. Many people thought the look wasn’t what they expected it to be. Now there is again a comparison between the look of the Grand Inquisitor from different shows and the fans still seem confused with the antagonist look. The netizens are blaming the quality of the respective show but many fans don’t think there is any huge difference.
