The Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is one of the most anticipated projects of this year. After months of almost no update about the upcoming film, Paramount Pictures has eventually released an epic trailer that is going to take the fear, terror, and action to the next level.
While the project was heavily surrounded by rumors of it being in extreme trouble, Paramount has shut it down by bringing back the franchise’s big bad, the Planet Eater, Unicron.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Will See Optimus Prime Fight Planet Eating Unicron
Paramount Pictures has finally unveiled the new trailer for the upcoming film, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts which will see Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots fighting against the gigantic robot, Unicron, who is also known as the Planet Eater in the franchise.
The world-devouring robot is voiced by Colman Domingo in the live-action film which was first introduced in 1986’s animated film, Transformers: The Movie.
The teaser takes back to 1994 when Anthony Ramos Jr’s Noah Diaz meets a grey Autobot which is voiced by Pete Davidson. He and Dominique Fishback’s Elena Wallace are once again dragged into the mega battle in the film. However, the focus again shifts to our humanoid robots who are preparing for their ultimate battle with the deadly giant being a great threat to the planet.
While the trailer didn’t properly clarify the overall gist of the Bumblebee’s standalone sequel, it is surely going to be an epic battle given that the Transformers are going to face the gigantic Unicron.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is Due for This June
Helmed by Steven Caple Jr., the seventh installment of The Transformers film series starring Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Tobe Nwigwe having their debut in this film. Along with them, new voice talents have joined the franchise including Pete Davidson meanwhile previous voice actors, Peter Cullen, John DiMaggio, and David Sobolov are returning to the saga.
Before the release of this trailer, previous reports shared that the film was in “a mess” with Paramount working on its best to mend the same. In The Hot Mic with Jeff Sneider and John Rocha, the duo talked about the film being in trouble due to its post-production process.
As per Sneider,
“This is what they said, they said that ‘Transformers’ has gone through close to a dozen different editing teams that have argued about different cuts of the film.”
Regardless of that, the trailer has eventually been dropped which has hinted at the epic war between the Predacons and the Maximals.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set to release in the United States on June 9, 2023.
