Leonardo DiCaprio played the role of a Homosexual FBI director who didn’t want to reveal his s**ual orientation to the people. Clint Eastwood wanted to make sure that every scene from the movie between Edgar and his lover Clyde looks real. One of the scenes from the movie J. Edgar is still a very memorable scene as DiCaprio can be seen romancing Armie Hammer in the movie. The 48-year-old actor is seen kissing the Death On The Nile actor.

Reportedly, before doing the kiss scene for the filming of the movie, DiCaprio and Hammer both requested Eastwood to use graphic characters for the movie. As the 93-year-old director and actor wanted the scene to come out as real as possible he dismissed this request from his actors. The Cry Macho actor said the screenplay didn’t call for it. The steamy scene between DiCaprio and The Social Network actor was a topic of conversation for almost everyone. When the 36-year-old actor was asked about doing the kissing scene with the Titanic star he said deep down he had hoped to kiss DiCaprio.

When DiCaprio was asked how was his experience when he was filming a steamy scene with Hammer, the actor said it was just acting. The Shutter Island actor also explained that in real life it is really difficult for him to get intimate with men. While talking about the kissing scene, the 48-year-old actor said,

“That’s just acting, you know what I mean? But as far as the kissing stuff, that’s really hard for me, I’m not kidding. But I’ve faced the fact that I’m gonna have to do it, and I’m gonna do it because I supposedly loved the guy.”

In another interview, the actor explained,

“These are the things we do as actors I was in character. Clint was very clear, saying, ‘I want you guys to beat each other up first, I want as much blood as possible, and I want you to grab each other as if you want to kill each other and then it will happen.'”
