Twilight actress Kristen Stewart has been writing a rather shady story about her life, and her choices. Though as a teen sensation, she had a great career beginning with the legendary David Fincher casting her for Panic Room (2002).
She got worldwide fame in 2008 as Bella in the live-action adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s book Twilight starring alongside Batman actor Robert Pattinson as the blood-sucking yet beautiful vampire.
Ever since the Twilight franchise, the actor hasn’t been able to bag more than Indie projects apart from what could have been a life-changing role as a Disney princess, and she actually became one!
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 paved the way for her to star in the Disney franchise that went on to become a global hit accumulating $401m out of the total worth of $561m with just the first installment.
Kristen Stewart’s Affair With The Film’s Director
High-profile affairs are always unapologetically exciting to know about. While the film we’re talking about is Snow White and the Huntsman which came out in 2012, Rupert Sanders was debuting with the project.
Kristen Stewart was already in a much-loved relationship with Robert Pattinson, she couldn’t help but get involved with Sanders on the set.
Sanders had been married at the time. But after photos of them kissing came out, the public outraged hard. Pattinson recovered much more quickly from the fiasco which was unexpected.
It is however both funny and intriguing at the same time that Sanders’ wife Liberty Ross played Stewart’s character’s mother. It all happened under her nose, but she got to learn only when the world had already found out.
Kristen Stewart Was Thrown Under The Bus For The Sequel
Her illicit affair with Sanders got her publicly bashed to the point that she had to give out a public apology. Even Donald Trump weighed in on the situation, saying Pattinson deserved better.
But, a rather embarrassed Kristen Stewart defended her being thrown out of the sequel as she got to learn about the development on the news.
“It wasn’t a situation where I got kicked off a movie because I got in trouble,” she told Variety.
Kristen Stewart is a woman of few words but her actions have definitely spoken way louder than she ever will. She was rather close to making a second appearance as the titular princess, but according to her – “None of the scripts were good enough.”
Kristen Stewart has been struggling in her acting career since Twilight ended, but playing Princess Diana in Spencer got her back on her feet. The film was released back in 2021 and has been sitting on 83% rotten tomatoes fresh score.
