Kraven’s Casting

While we couldn’t confirm who will be playing Kraven in the Spider-Man sequel, it’s very likely that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be in the role as he has been cast in Sony’s solo Kraven movie. Obviously, Aaron Taylor-Johnson already played Quicksilver in the MCU, but there’s a precedence for actors occasionally playing multiple characters for Marvel. Considering that Spider-Man: No Way Home is already stuffed with so many characters, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Kraven the Hunter in only a brief cameo.

Who Is Kraven The Hunter?

Sergei Kravinoff aka Kraven is portrayed as a big-game ultimate hunter in the comics who makes Spider-Man his most ambitious prey to become the ultimate hunter in the world. In his ultimate aim to hunt down Spider-Man, Kraven made alliances with the superhero’s other formidable foes to form the Sinister Six. Interestingly, he is also the half-brother of Chameleon, another powerful villain from Spider-Man’s rogue gallery.

Endowed with super-strength, slowed aging, predatory instincts, and unparalleled hunting prowess by consuming a mystical serum, Kraven is a formidable villain. However, his strict code of honor has at times made him an anti-hero, even leading to aid both Squirrel Girl and Spider-Man on a few occasions. Surprisingly, he used to be a member of Nick Fury’s Avengers back in the 1950s alongside Sabretooth and Silver Sable to retrieve a stolen version of the famed Super-Soldier Serum from the Nazis.
