During Adam Waldman’s tiresome testimony, Johnny Depp and his attorney Adam Waldman had a laugh when he mentioned his “lifetime” ban from Twitter. Amber Heard’s lawyer interrogated Waldman, on the specifics of the restriction. Waldman posted a photo of his Twitter ban on Instagram shortly after completing his testimony, along with a quote from George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” preface.
Waldman said that Depp continues to employ him as a legal counsel. He also said he’s seen “evidence of things that show [Amber Heard’s] statements to be false.” Waldman defended Depp in a defamation lawsuit against a British newspaper after the magazine called him a “wife-beater.” In the current defamation lawsuit against Heard, he is not representing Depp.
Johnny Depp’s lawyer posted about his Twitter Ban
In the midst of a defamation case, Johnny Depp’s lawyer responded to a ‘lifetime’ Twitter ban. Waldman came via video stream to address a question regarding the ban from Amber Heard’s legal team. After completing his testimony in court, Waldman turned to Instagram to cite a quote from Animal Farm by George Orwell, along with a screenshot of the ban.
“Unpopular ideas can be silenced, and inconvenient facts kept dark, without the need of an official ban. The Press is extremely centralized, and most of it is owned by wealthy men who have every motive to be dishonest on certain important topics.”

Furthermore, Waldman testified in court that he has sent many letters to the microblogging site.“To ask why I was suspended for life from their platform. And the response that I received was multiple violations of their policy,” he said. “So I asked, could they name one example of those multiple violations,” he continued. “And they responded by saying, now they were appealing without my asking them to do so … my suspension. That’s when they sent me another note that I was suspended for life.”
Several people responded positively to Waldman’s post. This included statements from Elon Musk that Waldman’s Twitter credentials will be restored. Musk has recently bought Twitter.
