Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s 5-Word Message For The Fans Expecting ‘The Boys’ Season 4 To Have Class

Jeffrey Dean Morgan's 5-Word Message For The Fans Expecting 'The Boys' Season 4 To Have Class

The Boys literally broke the internet with its first season back in 2019. The maker of the show – Erik Kripke took the premise of evil superheroes with their God complex to a whole new level. The pilot episode’s screenplay was off the charts and it got better and darker with every new episode.

We are three seasons down, and with the fourth one on its way, there is no doubt in the fact that the makers are going even further with this one. The gruesome and graphic content is the show’s main highlight and Amazon has definitely put a lot of juice to make it a high-budget satirical series.

Until the second season, we saw Antony Starr’s Homelander wreak havoc with his evil Superman-like abilities. Kripke caught us by surprise bringing in Jensen Ackles’ take on Soldier Boy for the third season.

The filming for the fourth season had already finished back in April, and this time around we would witness the television’s bad boy Jeffrey Dean Morgan take on a mystery role.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Mystery Role Uncovered?

Reuniting with his old buddy Kripke from the Supernatural days after a long time, Morgan will definitely play a character that fits him – a bad*as one, according to Nathan Mitchell.

The 57-year-old actor has already shown his ability to play loathsome characters, which is why rumors say that Ted Knight would be the most suitable character for him.

It is a character that takes inspiration from both Batman and Iron Man, and seeing Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s performance in The Walking Dead, we can all agree that he can pull this off without breaking a sweat.

There is no official confirmation yet on this from the makers, but considering Amazon’s deep pockets, they would push the boundaries even beyond as the character has high-tech weaponry and lives in a large mansion.

What Else To Expect From This Casting And Season 4?

Amazon has been incredibly ahead when it comes to their streaming game as they have given total liberty to their directors to push the limits.

Whether it be n*dity, blood, and organs splashing right in our faces, the show has a tendency to reach newer levels of absurdity with each season. Just as we saw Homelander having issues with milk, the character Ted Knight is also highly problematic.

He suffers from psychological trouble that causes him to lose all physical and emotional control and become a full-blown s*x-addict.

In his interview with Men’s Health, Jeffrey Dean Morgan shared –

“Well, no, I can’t tell you much about The Boys. But I will tell you to watch, and I do make it ‘filthier,’” he echoed.

With Butcher and Hughie getting powers of their own, it would be exciting to watch Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character getting thrown into the mix as according to him, the show would break all levels of filth that we have seen so far.

There is no official confirmation yet, but if sources are to be believed, The Boys season 4 shall premiere early next year.
