Javier Bardem is an incredibly famous and exceptionally talented actor, known for his skills of immersing himself into any role he takes up and captivating his audiences in the most perfect ways possible. He has starred in many massively successful projects, with No Country for Old Men, Mother!, Loving Pablo, and Dune being excellent examples. He has also been nominated for several Academy Awards, winning one in the category of Best Supporting Actor for his work in No Country Of Old Men.
It is quite common for actors to share stories about their lives during interviews. Be it something from their childhood, day-to-day life, or something random that happened, the public always loves to hear the experiences of their favorite celebrities. Now and then, however, someone shares something completely out of pocket that forces people to do a double take on what they just heard. Bardem did something similar when he shared a story during an interview.
Javier Bardem Became A Stripper For 10 Minutes
During an interview with Conan O’Brien, Javier Bardem told an interesting story from many years before he became the highly successful actor that he is today. Though he did not elaborate much on O’Brien’s show, the actor told the same story again in a lot more detail when doing an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. The actor revealed that one time when he was at a club and accidentally agreed to do a striptease in front of everyone, when he was drunk, for some money.
“I danced one night in a place that is a club and they asked for, a kind of a guy who will (do a ) striptease and I did it. It was for then minutes. I needed the money. I was young and everything was holding on.” he stated
When the actor sobered up, he got very anxious but decided to go anyway. When Bardem got on stage, he got very nervous even though there was no one in the audience. Despite this, he started to dance, only to stop after ten minutes.
Javier Bardem’s Mother Was In The Audience
This story gets even more odd as Javier Bardem reveals that he decided to bring his mother and his sister with him. While many mothers may be quite disappointed and weirded out that their sons performed these activities in front of them, this was not the case for Bardem’s mother.
“And my mother was there in the audience.” he went on, ” and she was so, so, so proud. That’s what mothers are for, to be proud of their sons, no matter what they do.“
The actor revealed that his mother was quite proud of what he was doing, stating that that is what mothers do. He elaborated, stating that his mother is proud of whatever he does.
