In an interview with IGN back in 2012, the actor claimed his 1998 slasher film, Urban Legend was a part that he has even forgotten playing. He left the reporter stunned as Leto played a pivotal role in the movie, the actor further claimed that he might have blacked out. He told the reporter,

“​​That’s so weird, I’ve never even heard of that movie.”

It is impossible to know whether the actor was speaking the truth or it was one of his twisted attempts of going viral, but Urban Legend is a slasher movie that the fans of the genre love and it is hard to believe one can forget being a part of such a thrilling movie. But if it was an attempt to go viral due to negative act, it wasn’t the last time Leto did it.
