Jared Leto calls Urban Legend his worst movie
In the recent years, Jared Leto has been a part of some not so acclaimed movies, the actor gained a lot of negative news including claims of sending weird gifts to the cast of Suicide Squad and alleged predatory behaviour. His career has seen a sharp decline specially after the release of his Sony’s Spiderverse movie, Morbius. His now blotted resume, was once a gleaming one and his movie, Urban Legend was surely to be thanked for that. But the actor does not think so.
In an interview with IGN back in 2012, the actor claimed his 1998 slasher film, Urban Legend was a part that he has even forgotten playing. He left the reporter stunned as Leto played a pivotal role in the movie, the actor further claimed that he might have blacked out. He told the reporter,
“That’s so weird, I’ve never even heard of that movie.”
It is impossible to know whether the actor was speaking the truth or it was one of his twisted attempts of going viral, but Urban Legend is a slasher movie that the fans of the genre love and it is hard to believe one can forget being a part of such a thrilling movie. But if it was an attempt to go viral due to negative act, it wasn’t the last time Leto did it.

In more recent news, Jared Leto is under immense scrutiny for using AI to create headshots for his LinkedIn profile. Right now, Hollywood is witnessing a historical moment where writers and actors have gone to strike against major productions. One of the clause they need a settlement on is the threat of AI taking over their jobs. In the light of this many major actors have extended their support to the SAG-AFTRA.
