With the 2006’s Casino Royale, we were introduced to a new iteration of MI6’s best super spy. Daniel Craig’s James Bond was the introduction to the war era’s intelligence agent being brought to the 21st century, which was a new battlefield where wars were fought behind the scenes without the knowledge of the common folk. The version that Daniel Craig brought to the scenes was quite different from the one’s brought before, as this one had more sentimental nuance to him.
And after 15 years of being the face of the 007 franchise, he took his leave from the series in 2021’s No Time To Die, bringing the James Bond phase of his career to an end. Now, as the studios search for a new face to take the place of the super spy, many prominent names are starting to emerge from the list of potential candidates, most notably, former DCU star Henry Cavill. But despite the roar for the next Bond, Craig doesn’t seem all that excited.
The Next Bond Is Currently Irrelevant For Daniel Craig!
Throughout the years, there have been 25 James Bond films that have graced cinema, and most of them depicted the spy as the times required him to be. So, from the start of the 21st century, Daniel Craig was chosen to play the prestigious role of Bond in Casino Royale, where he brought an all-new side to the character. generally depicted as stoic and unrevealing of his feelings to anyone, the new Bond was someone who let his emotions guide him when his mind left his side, something that was never done before.

Nad after his departure from the role, fans were a little disheartened, but at the same time, they were excited to look forward to the next iteration of Agent 007. Many rumors have been making circles that tell stories of actors like Tom Hardy, Dan Stevens, and Charlie Cox becoming the next face of the franchise. But among all of them, former Superman star Henry Cavill seems like the most obvious choice to the majority, although Craig does not care who the next Bond will be.
During the interview, the Knives Out star said:
“I don’t really pay attention, it’s just a lot of noise. I mean I don’t go on the internet, I don’t have a social media account, so, you know, it’s what it is”
Although the former James Bond star might care about who will become the next super spy, he does want to enjoy the next 007 films that will come out in the future.
