Chris Evans reveals his mother’s reaction to his winning Sexiest Man Alive title
When the Fantastic Four actor was named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive in November, he said that his mother would be the happiest and she would brag about it everywhere. He said,
“My mom will be so happy. She’s proud of everything I do but this is something she can brag about.”
His mother Lisa also shared,
“I am not surprised at all. Our family will be beside themselves.”
In a recent interview, the actor shared that his mother still brags about his title as his current reign as Sexiest Man Alive. He added that it would be a very sad day when he will lose the title to someone else. The Losers star said,
“She still does a lot of bragging. It’s going to be a sad day when I lose the title. Heavy lies the crown. It’s not easy.”
Evans joined the long list of PEOPLE’s Sexiest Men Alive, including Paul Rudd and previous title holders Michael B. Jordan, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, John Legend, Idris Elba, Chris Hemsworth, and Channing Tatum.
Ana de Armas’s reaction to Chris Evans winning Sexiest Man Alive title
Gorgeous actress Ana de Armas is reuniting with Avengers star Chris Evans for the third time in Ghosted. The duo earlier partnered for Knives Out in 2019 and The Gray Man in 2022. In the interview, the Blonde actress also shared her opinion on Evans winning the title in 2022.
On being asked if the actor has changed after being honored by the title, Ana de Armas said,
“Not changed at all. I think he was sexy before too!”
“I think it was coming, right? It was going to happen at some point.” Evans joked “You guys were late. [It was] not ‘if’ just ‘when.'”
Ghosted is a romantic action-comedy, with Chris Evans and Ana de Armas in leading roles. The story revolves around the life of Cole, a simple guy, who helplessly falls in love with a girl name Sadie. However, the story gets twisted when she ghosts him after the first date. As he tries to find her, Cole realizes that she is a secret agent. Amid the search for her, he lands into an international operation with Sadie.
Ghosted will release in theatres on April 21.
