“It’s all bulls*t”: Gal Gadot Was Not Happy After Her B*obs and Armpit Hair Became an Issue After ‘Wonder Woman’

Gal Gadot Was Not Happy After Her B*obs and Armpit Hair Became an Issue After 'Wonder Woman'

As beloved as superheroes are, the thing about an armored savior is that they don’t exist beyond the resplendent world of comic books. And usually, netizens and die-hard fans who take film adaptations a bit too seriously, tend to expect everything to be executed in more or less the same layout that the comic narrates, down to the very minute detail. But that wasn’t the case with 2017’s Wonder Woman.

Sure, there were people who groaned about Gal Gadot’s relatively smaller b*obs as opposed to the voluptuous Amazonian Princess in the comics. But a new chain of controversy was unearthed following the movie’s release as fans demanded something that the comics didn’t portray – armpit hair. Either way though, Gadot wasn’t having any of that.

Wonder Woman Controversy Explained

Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman was Gal Gadot‘s magnum opus and a lofty achievement for the studio too considering just how elegantly the film thrived, both critically and commercially. Despite all the love that the superhero flick was showered with, however, there appeared to be some who had nothing but scathing remarks to sully it with, a disdain that was primarily directed toward the Israeli actress who portrayed the fan-favorite warrior on the big screens.

Those who were lamenting, as it turned out, were unhappy that Gadot, 38, wasn’t as busty as the interpretation of the superhero in the comics or even Linda Carter’s Wonder Woman, for that matter. And as if that wasn’t a preposterous piece of criticism already, people further complained about Gadot’s fully-shaven armpits, which apparently fostered outmoded stereotypes about women and body hair.

But the Fast & Furious star wasn’t one to let such petty reprovals shake her confidence.

Gal Gadot Slammed Haters for Nitpicking

Gal Gadot, who has always been open and unbothered about her small chest, was absolutely not having any of the futile contempt being thrown her way. And what better way to tell the haters to mind their own business than to make a song about her b*obs?

In an interview with Zoomin TV, when the Death on the Nile star was asked about the controversy regarding her lack of armpit hair, she admitted she wasn’t even aware something so trivial was being talked about that much. As for those who trolled her for her bre*sts, Gadot had just the perfect song about how she thought they were “just the right size.”

“I didn’t even know about the hairy armpits […] I think it’s all bullsh*t. And I think it all has absolutely nothing to do with the character. It’s not relevant and the people who do it, like seriously, do something good. If you have time, do something good with it.”

Well, she’s not entirely wrong either.

Wonder Woman can be streamed on Max.
