“When I was super lean, you’re trying to cut water out of your system [during filming]. It’s a trick of the trade that people use, that you try to dehydrate yourself as much as possible,” adding, “And then, oddly enough, when you’re on set that day when your body’s been deprived of sugar and sodium and all these things, you drink like a can of Coke. Your body gets all that sugar, and everything tightens up. You get this certain kind of vascular look that looks good on screen.

Miles Teller did a phenomenal job and convincingly demonstrated his character, as he trained hard enough to build those muscles and sultry physique to play his part authentically.

The actor gushed about sharing the silver screen with Cruise, who is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in Hollywood whose films often grossed millions, even billions of dollars at the box office. As reported by Cinema Blend, Teller shared on the podcast,

“I’ve never been a part of a big movie like that really, and it’s just I say when you have Jerry Bruckheimer, and you have Tom Cruise, and you also throw in like Christopher McQuarrie and Joe Kosinski and so many different people on that, the quality control is there and Tom is, he’s spending so much time –he spends so much time before you ever show up.”

He continued,

“I mean years and years of f**king carving this thing and then reshooting stuff if it’s not great. It’s just wonderful to be a part of something like that because he’s doing so much heavy lifting, and he’s literally just nonstop, and his attention to detail is just ridiculous. It will never be matched.”

Joseph Kosinski-directed action drama movie grossed $1.496 billion at the global box office and received positive reviews from the audience and critics alike.
