It is never easy to decide for actors and actresses to decide if one of their intimate scenes with one star was better than the other. Penelope Cruz once faced a similar dilemma when she was asked who was a better kisser between Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron.
The All the Pretty Horses actress once appeared in an interview on the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen show back in 2016 ahead of the release of her movie, Zoolander 2 along with Ben Stiller when she was asked the difficult question and the actress handled the question like an expert diplomat and avoided choosing one.
Penelope Cruz has starred with both, Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron in different movies
Penelope Cruz is one of the best actresses in the industry and has starred with multiple A-listers throughout her career spanning over 3 decades. Cruz shared the screen with Scarlett Johansson back in 2008 in the Vicky Cristina Barcelona movie where she played the role of the ex-wife of Javier Bardem, María Elena. During the movie, the characters of all 3 stars, Johansson, Bardem, and Cruz all get romantically involved with each other and share some intimate moments on screen. Cruz also received an Academy Award for her portrayal of María Elena in the movie.
Scarlett Johansson isn’t the only actress that Penelope Cruz has shared a kiss with on-screen. Back in 2004, Cruz shared an intimate moment on-screen with Charlize Theron while filming for the movie, Head in the Clouds. In the movie, Cruz portrayed the role of Mia and a lover of Theron’s character, Gilda Bessé before Stuart Townsend’s character comes in between them.

Back in 2016, Penelope Cruz appeared for an interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen show along with her co-star from Zoolander 2, Ben Stiller. Andy Cohen asked the actress about her experiences of kissing the 2 A-listers and asked who is the better kisser between the two. Cruz said, “I have to say both, I’m sorry. How can you choose there?”
Cohen further asked the actress, “Is it nice kissing a lady?” A flustered Penelope Cruz replied,
“Are you asking me if I liked kissing Scarlett and…It was not bad”
Cohen also made Penelope Cruz and Ben Stiller play a game segment called ‘Plead the Fifth‘ in which the stars are asked 3 questions out of which they can choose to deny to answer one of them and will have to answer at least 2.
Both the movies, Head in the Clouds and Vicky Cristina Barcelona are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
