Florence Pugh has become one of the most iconic film stars in recent years. From her acting to her personality, fans love it all. However, recently she has been gaining attention for all the right and wrong reasons. And this outrage hasn’t been because of her acting but rather her fashion choices.
If you have been an avid follower of the fashion scene, then you must know the recent appearances of Florence Pugh on the red carpet and the shock it has generated across the fashion world. Despite the negatives, the Marvel star is undeterred and doesn’t regret any of her ‘outlandish’ fashion choices.
Florence Pugh Doesn’t Regret Her Outrageous Fashion Choices
When Florence Pugh dressed in a sheer hot pink very very see-through Valentino dress at a fashion show, it set the internet on fire, for two reasons. One was that her dedicated fans and fashion experts couldn’t handle the oomph she brought wearing the revealing dress. And the other was the rest of the internet exclaiming how outrageous her choices were.
“When everything went down with the Valentino pink dress a year ago, my n*pples were on display through a piece of fabric, and it really wound people up. It’s the freedom that people are scared of; the fact I’m comfortable and happy.”
In the future, the Little Women actress was scrutinized again when she appeared with her head shaved or wore another see-through Valentino lavender gown to a fashion event. While most applauded her for her bold choices and for being instrumental in fighting body shaming, many were red with rage. However, the Dune actress doesn’t seem to care at all.
“I think I’ve always been interested in wearing loud clothing… I’ve always wanted to be bold and make a bit of a scene – I don’t think that’s gone away.”
Despite her desire to ‘make a scene’, fans have been encouraging of her and her fashion choices.
Florence Pugh Feels More Confident On Red Carpets Now
Being referred to as Queen, Goddess, and Sensational, the internet can’t get enough of Florence Pugh’s ‘outlandish’ and bold fashion looks on the red carpet. Even though there have been ‘fans’ calling her out for being ugly, attention-seeking, and overrated over her recent red-carpet appearances, Pugh feels she has grown more confident.
“When I first started doing red carpets, it was really tough. It takes ages to feel comfortable with 50 men all shouting, ‘Picture, over here!’ I’ve become more confident in the last few years, and I think that’s hugely linked to the clothes I’ve been wearing.”
While the SAG-AFTRA strikes seem to have put all high-profile events on hold, fans are way too excited to see what ‘outrageous’ clothing Pugh wears next.
