The actor-turned-entrepreneur has had great success with this tequila business, which has quickly won over the hearts of his customers. Johnson had an idea that would ultimately make him millions of dollars at the start of Covid 19 when the entire world was essentially shut down.

And it did, in fact. However, the actor’s enthusiasm for introducing Teremana Tequila just as the Covid-19 pandemic was beginning was absolutely commendable. Why? Because it has since grown to be one of the most well-known brands.

The Rock is one of the wealthiest Hollywood celebrities. He owns Seven Bucks Productions, a successful production company that has worked on popular films like Rampage, Skyscraper, Jungle Cruise, Red Notice, and others.

However, he also rules a sizable fortune that comes from more than just producing and appearing in high-profile movies.

Proud Dwayne Johnson Speaks About Teremana Tequila

In March 2020, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Ken Austin, and Jenna Fagnan founded Teremana Tequila. The desire to offer the public the highest quality tequila gave rise to the business concept. Teremana Tequila quickly became the spirit in the United States with the fastest growth after its release.

But in the midst of the pandemic, how did Johnson promote his liquor company?

Also, take note of the franchise’s recent fame as the Spirit brand with the fastest growth. The ultra-premium brand, introduced by the 51-year-old former professional wrestler in early 2020, has now surpassed the one million case sales threshold. Or, we can say it reportedly overwhelmed roughly 9 million liters of liquid, in annual sales.

So, yes, even by The Rock’s oversized standards, this is a significant event. The renowned actor declared in a written statement that Teremana Tequila’s launch had been “an unprecedented and historic success in North America.”

“It has far exceeded all of our expectations and is accelerating at an extraordinary pace towards its full potential. Taste, quality and affordability are the keys to Teremana’s success.”

How Did He Increase The Value Of His Brand During The Pandemic?

In an interview with Forbes, Dwayne Johnson shared his strategies for successfully educating the public about his tequila brand. The pandemic had brought the entire world to its knees. People lost both their businesses and their jobs. But the Baywatch actor found a way to promote his brand successfully. And it involved his social media sites.

The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star is a household name, as evidenced by the 328 million Instagram followers he has (as of this writing). Johnson, therefore, used his sizable social media to promote Teremana Tequila.

“I have a very powerful tool of social media and I’ve built some trust equity with fans from all over the world. So, my thought was, I’m going to have a drink and see what happens from there…”

Teremana Tequila is currently one of Johnson’s moneymakers. A recent milestone for the business was exceeding 1 million cases sold annually. Additionally, Johnson’s brand tequila is among the few with the fastest-moving sales.

That’s not all. Johnson’s XFL turned out to be a white elephant, but his tequila company is still expanding. However, he has a positive outlook. He views his setbacks positively. The actor is confident about the future of the XFL, despite suffering a staggering $60M loss from it.

The Fast X star is a person to be reckoned with because of his entrepreneurial spirit and desire to have a positive impact. And, his Teremana may have spared him from ruin financially.
