Pre-orders have now officially gone Live for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and fans have two options to choose from: Vault Edition and Standard Edition. Those opting for the base version will have Early Access to the Open Beta and the game’s Campaign. The Vault Edition further provides gamers with all the base edition perks with a range of additional bonuses. Being one of the most anticipated reboots in the franchise, gamers have been waiting for the official price for the two editions to go live.
With pre-orders now officially launched, gamers now have a clear idea of the differences between the two editions.
Modern Warfare 3: Prices Revealed For The Vault Edition And Standard Edition
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 pre-orders goes live with the Vault Edition costing $99.99 and the Standard Edition costing $69.99. The base edition pre-order comes with early access to the Open Beta, the complete Campaign, and the only bonus pack named “Soap” Operator Pack that’s usable in Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 3, and Warzone 2.
The Soap Operator pack allows gamers to instantly receive the “Masked Soap” the “Unmasked Soap” Skin, and the Blueprint for the “Shadow Siege” Weapon. The Soap Operator Pack is confirmed to be available to use immediately after pre-ordering the new title in Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone. It will also carry forward to the new title and be available in Modern Warfare 3, starting at the game launch.
Vault Edition includes the perks that come along with the base edition alongside two Weapon Vaults, access to BLACKCELL Battle Pass, with up to 50 Tier Skips, and PlayStation gamers will get an additional 5 Tier Skips. There are two Weapon Vaults as well and a Nemesis Operator Pack that packs skins for Price, Ghost, Warden, and the notorious, Makarov.

The BLACKCELL Battle Pass might be a major deciding factor for players who might be looking for a head start. Call of Duty’s official notes reveal that Battle Pass and the Tier Skips will be accessible in Modern Warfare 3 once the Season 1 Battle Pass is made available in the game. Battle Pass redemption applies to one season of Modern Warfare 3 Battle Pass only.
