Jennifer Lopez is not only a talented singer but also a great actress. She knows how to grab the attention of her fans and the media and is unafraid to take up a big task. She has contributed to the entertainment industry not just by her music but also by her movies. No matter what the script may be, she will give in her all to make sure she has done her best to make it better.
Although she is a skilled individual, she can often come off as a diva. This is a personality trait that has been tied to her one too many times. Whether it is with fans or her co-stars, it has been recurring for a long time. However, her decisions to take some massive steps may not always be wrong.
Jennifer Lopez Banned Marc Anthony From Set
It is not uncommon to see family and friends of big stars visiting them on sets just to watch them perform and support them. Jennifer Lopez‘s ex-husband, Marc Anthony did something similar while she was filming The Back-Up Plan. Both of them had been rather good with each other. Unfortunately, their relationship could have distracted the actress from some scenes.
“I didn’t want to torture the poor guy. He shouldn’t be watching when I’m seducing another man on a kitchen table.”
Despite the movie not getting a lot of positive reviews and only 17% on Rotten Tomatoes, it managed to make more than double the budget. However, it had some rather intense and intimate scenes that require a great amount of focus from every individual involved. Jennifer Lopez decided to ban Anthony from the set because of how easily he could distract her and due to the effect those scenes could have on him. Instead of him watching through scenes that would give him emotional and physical turmoil, Lopez chose to keep him out of the set.
Jennifer Lopez Thought She Was A Failure
Jennifer Lopez’s third divorce came in 2014 as the actress decided to split with Marc Anthony. They were married for a decade but decided to cut things off. It was the hardest thing the actress had done and it put her in a really bad position.
I had to re-examine my whole life, because I waited to have kids, I had kids when I was 38, because I never wanted to not be with the person I was with and had kids with,” Lopez added. “I just felt like, when we got divorced, it was the lowest time of my life, I felt like I had failed miserably and that I wasn’t going to give my kids what they needed.”
The actress found herself lost in the process and even believed herself to be a failure. She thought that Lopez was depriving her children of the life they required because of the decisions she was making.
