There are many Hollywood stars who feature in a project together and are hardly in contact after the work is done and released. However, that was not the case for Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill, who starred in the 2015 action-adventure film, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. The film received mixed reviews from critics and was not able to shine at the box office. And despite portraying the rival spies in the film, Cavill and Hammer reportedly became good friends while working together.
It later reflected on their social media as the two commented on each other’s posts. And once, the Call Me By Your Name star got a weird request from his co-star’s fan.
Armie Hammer Replied to Weird Fan Request
Henry Cavill is loved by his fans not only for his undeniable talent and remarkable performances but also for his humble and gentleman behavior. He is loved by his fans for giving iconic performances, such as Superman in DC films and Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher.
His casting alongside Armie Hammer in the 2015 film The Man From U.N.C.L.E. also received mixed reactions. However, there were the ones who liked seeing the two stars together on-screen and went on make some requests to The Social Network star.
Hammer also did not shy away from addressing these comments. Once a fan asked him to kiss Cavill for them. The fan asked, “If you see henry cavill someday, can you kiss him from my part?” Hammer replied to the request, saying, “He said I’m not allowed to kiss him anymore… sorry.”
Both Cavill and Hammer have shared that they prefer keeping their personal life out of the spotlight, and it is unclear if the two are still in contact. However, some reports have suggested that most of Hammer’s celebrity pals have cut ties with him.
Armie Hammer Reportedly Ghosted By Friends
Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill seemed to be on good terms, followed by the release of their 2015 films. The Man of Steel star even congratulated Armie Hammer for welcoming his son. “Cheers to another member of Clan Hammer,” Cavill said in a post shared by Hammer.
However, for some time the Mirror Mirror actor has been under fire, followed by the highly controversial claims made by his exes. And reports suggest that as a result of these claims, many of his old friends from Hollywood have turned their back on the actor.
In December last year, RadarOnline reported that the Hammer has “started looking for new benefactors,” which includes The Witcher star, Julia Roberts and Johnny Depp, who starred alongside him in the 2013 film The Lone Ranger. It is unclear if Hammer and Cavill are still in touch or not.
