The second installment in the Magic Mike movie series, Magic Mike XXL starring Channing Tatum in the lead and follows a group of male strippers. Jada Smith portrayed the owner of a male strip club. And the actress has shared that she received an offer for the film from its lead star.
She shared that she enjoyed starring in the movie and made sure that she did not miss a single dance routine. However, she had one dislike about the whole thing, and that was thongs. “I always found the best seat in the house. But I’ve got to be honest. I’m not a big fan of thongs,” she shared.
She also noticed the changes in the behavior of her male co-stars in the presence and absence of their partners. She said, “I got to be a witness to how men interact when women aren’t around.” All this helped her to understand men and her husband, Will Smith. She claimed that the movie helped her deal with her husband’s unpredictable behavior.
She shared that after starring in the movie, she started relishing those moments, and she has also “learnt to enjoy that playfulness in him much more and participate in it versus, like, tolerate it.” She has also said that it is significant for one to accept their partner as they are.
