Channing Tatum, with that sharp jawline, has been slicing the butter in Hollywood for a little less than two decades now. In his breakthrough film – Step Up which was released back in 2006, he showed that he can groove like nobody else.
Prior to his acting career, he had been a highly sought-after model and worked with fashion pioneers like Dolce & Gabbana and Armani.
Tatum is a man of many talents. Having those perfect washboard abs and a smize that can melt people down to their core, he has proven himself to be a top model, a fantastic dancer, and a charming actor who can hold his own in any role that is thrown at him.
2012 is when he got to experience his past in ways that he had never imagined. Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike brought his stripper days back and he had us glued to our chairs wishing that he came out of the screen.
Channing Tatum Takes His Shirt Off Every Chance He Gets
Christened by the famous fashion photographer Bruce Weber, Channing Tatum has been aware of his gifts since he was just 20.
When he had his stripper thongs on in Miami, Tatum made good money in small gigs at nightclubs removing his shirt, and maybe a lot more.
A year prior to the sequel – Magic Mike XXL (2015), the 43-year-old actor opened up to Esquire about his $400 shirtless bartender scene in – She Bangs music video, which got him his ticket to Hollywood.
Magic Mike is where Tatum had the most fun as he had a shirtless Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer join him in the most seductive stripping scenes.
Channing Tatum Is Looking To Challenge Hustlers Star
Only if the worlds had a chance of colliding, would we get to see how Channing Tatum’s flexibility fares out against Hustlers actor and Ben Affleck’s current wife Jennifer Lopez.
As much as we’d love to see that happen, Vanity Fair got really close to the imagination by putting the actor to the test earlier this year.
Tatum had nothing to hide in a recently surfaced video wherein he took the lie detector test to challenge himself and his opinions of his career so far.
He confidently cleared the smoke that he definitely would prove to be a better stripper than Lopez.
“I’m gonna say, yeah. I would go harder if I was stripping against her. I’m just saying, but I’m gonna take it to JLo’s front door.”
Jennifer Lopez’s performance in Hustlers can put even the most professional of strippers to shame. But, we’re not sure if this would be a good time for Channing Tatum to think about challenging her considering she is now married to Ben Affleck. Tatum may not want to see The Accountant at his front door.
