CM Punk Called Out Dwayne Johnson On His Separation With WWE

While bantering with each other, CM Punk focused on how Dwayne Johnson was barely present in the league ever since his fame in the Hollywood industry started rising. Punk mocked his busy schedule and how it was almost as if him gracing fans with his presence was a rare and applaudable sight. He pointed out how Johnson may have wrestled with many big names and strong contenders, but none would be formidable a foe as him.

“I don’t care how many movies you film every year. I know how hard that schedule probably is.”

He basically referred to the wrestler-turned-actor as a fraud. Furthermore, Punk called himself the best there is and that The Rock won’t be able to handle him in the ring. He downright told The Rock that no matter how much fun he would make of CM Punk, it would not make a difference because when it would come down to them wrestling against each other, he was confident that he would be the winner. There was a constant mockery of how Johnson is a big Hollywood celebrity now and barely participated in anything related to WWE anymore.

CM Punk Called Himself A God That Dwayne Johnson Had To Face

CM Punk mocked and trolled The Rock in the promo video ahead of their match in 2013’s Royal Rumble. He added that although Dwayne Johnson would insult him and jab at him, it would not matter because Punk could defeat him easily.

“I’m in the big leagues and I’m swinging for the fence. You need to understand that your little jabs and your insults. It’s all kiddie games. You can’t leave a mark on the champ’s face. Come, Royal Rumble understand that when you step in the ring, your arms are just too short to box with God.”

He implied that the world of cinema and his strict schedule has made him weak. Punk further commented on how he may have been at his prime back then, but in front of him, he had no chance.
