Viggo Mortensen has been an avid actor known for several iconic performances throughout his Hollywood career. Having starred in the role of Aragorn in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Mortensen found new fame as an actor in heroic roles.
Well, it was only two years later that Mortensen starred in the 2005 movie titled A History of Violence. The movie would see Viggo Mortensen having an intimate scene with his co-star Maria Bello but the director stepped in and showed Mortensen how to do the intimate scene…after getting undressed!
When A Director Stepped In Viggo Mortensen’s Intimate Moment To Show Him!
Back in 2005, Viggo Mortensen starred alongside Maria Bello in A History of Violence. In the movie, there was an intimate scene where Mortensen and Bello had to shoot after getting comfortable with each other. Well, they weren’t really getting the shot just right and it was too much for director David Cronenberg to handle.
As per Mortensen, the director called up his wife and told her to come on down to the set. David Cronenberg undressed in public alongside his wife and they started imitating the raunchy scene while guiding Viggo Mortensen and Maria Bello on how to act out the scene.
“David, trying to be helpful, as usual, thought it might be a good idea to call up his wife and have her come down to the set. The crew and Maria and I just sat and watched while he and his wife got into something comfortable – nothing – and they started to say, ‘We want you to [do this[.’ Maria and I were both going, ‘Ok, we get it,’”
The Green Book actor further continued,
“This is a testament to their relationship, they kept going and they kept going and then we broke for lunch and some time in the evening Maria and I got to have a crack at it. Instead of putting us at ease, we actually were kind of freaked out…Maybe some things ought to stay private,”
The actor is currently attached to a thriller movie that will reportedly depict the death of John F. Kennedy from a mob’s point of view.
