Gwyneth Paltrow is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful actors of today’s generation and behind her immense beauty lies an extremely successful career in the Hollywood industry. While she comes from a family heavily invested in acting and Broadway, she made her own path and forged her way to prominence in the industry. Her most famous role was her starring in the MCU franchise as Pepper Potts.
Just like many celebrities, Gwyneth Paltrow also had a flourishing dating life, and dating Brad Pitt, one of the most famous actors will always be a great feat. While their engagement was something that happened a long time ago, Paltrow’s ex-husband, Chris Martin felt quite insecure about it despite being married for almost a decade.
Chris Martin Was Insecure About Gwyneth Paltrow’s Dating Life
Gwyneth Paltrow had a very successful acting career and during her time in the industry, she made many connections and friends with many important individuals and celebrities. Apart from the work stuff, she also fell in love with the A-lister Brad Pitt and the couple went on to be engaged in late 1996 but split up by 1997 as at that time Paltrow was a bit too young to be decisive about her committing to her relationship with Pitt.
Later on, the Iron Man star even said that she was a kid, she wasn’t ready, and also claimed that he was too good for her. The couple after breaking up went their own separate ways and claimed their fame and glamor in the industry. Gwyneth Paltrow went on to marry Chris Martin, the famous musician in 2003 and claimed that marrying him was the best thing that ever happened to her.
“I always felt it would be great to be with a very powerful woman because it would keep you in your place. Being married to someone very successful and very powerful basically keeps you hungry to improve. You’ve got to be hungry. If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you’d want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?”
While the couple might seem perfect and had everything well maintained, Chris Martin was actually quite insecure about Paltrow’s past life and dating history despite being married for over a decade. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Martin shared that Paltrow was his only “serious” partner, and being married to such a huge celebrity definitely made him feel like earning more to his name, whether be it fame, respect, or money.
