Megan Fox is an acclaimed actress and model who gained fame through her roles in blockbuster hits such as Transformers and Jennifer’s Body. Renowned for her captivating beauty and magnetic on-screen charm, Fox has become a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
However, Megan Fox expressed her outrage over the leak of intimate pictures of her taken on a cameraphone, which were circulated on the internet just ahead of the release of her film Transformers.
Megan Fox Wanted To Physically Hurt The Person Responsible
In an interview with Allure magazine, Megan Fox made a strong statement, vowing to take “physical action” against the individual responsible for capturing a picture of her on the set of her film Passion Play. The leaked photo showed her appearing n*de in a glass box, portraying a circus sideshow performer.
“If I knew who took this picture, I would personally cause them harm – physical harm… I’m not a f*cking reality TV star that’s courting the paparazzi and wants my f*cking picture taken all the time,” Fox said.
She went on to express her frustration, explaining that while she was working, fully immersed in her role, and trying to take her character seriously, she found herself dealing with such distressing circumstances. The situation left her feeling absolutely furious.
“I’m at my job and I’m trying to play a character and I’m trying to be serious, and this is the shit that’s happening to me. It makes me furious.”
Subsequently, after the news of her departure from the Transformers franchise emerged, Fox asserted that the decision to leave was entirely hers.
Did Michael Bay Fire Megan Fox From The Transformers Franchise
The situation sparked speculation that the actress had been removed from the franchise by director Michael Bay, as she had previously compared him to Hitler and criticized the action films for not focusing on acting.
“Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3. It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best,” Fox’s representative said.
During the production of Transformers 2, crew members took an uncommon step by publishing an online letter openly criticizing the actress. They described her using derogatory terms such as “dumb-as-a-rock,” “sour,” and a “thankless, classless, graceless, unfriendly b*tch.” They expressed their dissatisfaction, even wishing that a Megatron would eliminate her character in the first ten minutes of Transformers 3.
When Mark Wahlberg joined the Transformers franchise, he injected fresh energy into the series. As a skilled actor with a versatile repertoire, Wahlberg brought his unique charm and action-star prowess to the films. While his role received both praise and criticism from fans and critics alike, there’s no denying the impact he made on the iconic franchise.
Transformers is available for rent or purchase on Google Play.
