Famous for portraying the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tom Holland is always up for fresh artistic challenges. However, after being involved in the television series The Crowded Room, Holland recently revealed that he might be a bit hesitant in getting back to television projects. Just like him, his Spider-Man co-actor Zendaya was also involved in television projects. But like her, can Holland brave through the complications that arise while shooting for television?
This doesn’t mean that Holland is not willing to explore any other television projects at all. Passionate about his craft, Holland revealed that he loves challenges and the idea of putting himself in uncomfortable situations.
Tom Holland on what The Crowded Room offered him
One of the most tweeted-about shows of the decade, Zendaya’s Euphoria had a polarizing effect on the audiences. However, despite the criticisms received by it from platforms like D.A.R.E who accused the makers of ‘glorifying drug use,’ or calling the expressions of heterosexual female sexuality as depressing, Zendaya braved through all the negativity. But could Tom Holland do the same?
Explaining how he is comfortable handling stress, Holland told ScreenRant, “I think the thing for me is: I just love a challenge. I love something new. I love something that’s going to push me in ways I haven’t been pushed before.”
Furthermore, he added, “I really try to live by the idea of putting yourself in uncomfortable situations, [and] becoming comfortable with that kind of stress. And Crowded Room kind of offered everything that I was looking for.”
But does this mean Holland is comfortable getting back on TV again?

s. Citing how the constant shoots broke him, the Spider-Man actor said,
“I’d never say never to doing TV again. I’d be lying if I said that The Crowded Room didn’t absolutely break me, so I’d be a little bit hesitant getting back into it. But I’m really proud of the final result and would definitely consider doing something like this again.”
Inspired by The Minds of Billy Milligan, The Crowded Room aired on June 9, 2023. Set in Manhattan, the series explores the life of a young man in the summer of 1979 who is arrested for a shocking crime.
