Scarlett Johansson Almost Starred in Mission: Impossible

Being the highest-paid actress for several years and being included among the 100 most important people in the world certainly helped Scarlet Johansson gain fame among the general public. She is one of the most successful performers in the business who made her way to the top.

During an interview with Cosmopolitan, the actress was asked why she rejected the Mission: Impossible 3 role. She answered that even though she had a very close relationship with Tom Cruise and she even put a lot of work behind it all.

“We had contractual differences. It’s a shame, because I rehearsed with Tom Cruise for a long time and I loved working with him. He’s a sweetheart. I went to one of the Scientology centers with him.

I’ve worked with a lot of Scientologists, so I know a bit about it. [Tom] is really enthusiastic about it, and when you’re working with someone, you want to see what makes them tick.”

Even though both of them grew close, it just did not happen, and fans who were expecting a lot from the duo were left heartbroken.

Scarlet Jonansson’s Exit From MCU Was Not Grandious

Fans were dismayed when Scarlet Johansson‘s standalone movie, Black Widow, failed miserably in comparison to the previous solo movies since her character as Natasha Romanoff was a wonderful fit for one of the Avengers. Despite a large $200 million budget, Black Widow only made $379 million at the box office following its global debut.
