On the 18th birthday of the Guns Akimbo star, the final book of the series titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows finally made it to the hands of its readers, which also included Radcliffe. But the problem was that during that time, the film had only adapted the fifth book into the film series, and the star wanted to read what lay in store for him and his character in the future. Therefore, he had to beg all of his fans not to talk about the end with him, while also exercising caution. He decided to read the book himself, even during his birthday celebrations. In a past interview, he said:
“I was reading actually at a cricket match because it came out 2 days before my 18th birthday, and I was going to a match for my birthday. So I was going ‘round for 2 days without having read it where everybody else was reading it. And so it was a 2-day-long struggle to beg not get told the ending.”
Eventually, he learned what awaited him in the coming time, which prepared him to give an exceptional performance during his last film as a farewell to the character he played for almost a decade.
