Hospitalized after a daring stunt for the movie, the actor’s dedication to his craft shines through. Amongst his renowned roles in Kick-Ass, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Savages, he joins the ensemble cast of Bullet Train, which features a renowned name like Brad Pitt. 

At the Los Angeles premiere of the film, Taylor-Johnson candidly shared the incident where he suffered a painful wound. He said,

“We were in a fight sequence and I get dropkicked across the room. And the one sharp bit of the corner, where there wasn’t any padding, took a chunk out of my hand. And I went, wham, passed out.”

“And then I came back and was like, Should we go again? And they were like, ‘No, no, no. You gotta go get stitches at the hospital. So then I spent the night in the hospital.”

Despite the setback, his unwavering spirit and passion for filmmaking remain unharmed, highlighting the dedication and risks actors embrace to captivate audiences worldwide.

Meanwhile, Taylor-Johnson humorously also noted that director David Leitch’s movies often have a reputation for minor injuries, embracing the adventurous spirit of filmmaking despite getting injured.

“You know when you sign up for a David Leitch movie, you know you gotta get a couple of battle scars. Some war wounds. David Leitch gave us so much room to improve and adlib, and we just wanted to make these characters pop.”

Though the Kick-Ass player injury was not severe, it served as a reminder to prioritize safety precautions for the crew throughout filming.
