Bruce Willis had an outstanding acting career and later on, established himself as an action star in the Hollywood industry. While he has retired from acting due to his medical condition, his 50+ acting credits are still making rounds on the Internet. After it was revealed that the actor was diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder, he is only getting love and support from all across the world including his better half, Emma Heming.
The duo met in 2007 while working out at their mutual trainer’s gym. Just a year after, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was spotted on the red carpet with him for the premiere of his 2008 film Flawless. They tied the knot the next year with their relationship going strong ever since then.
Given that the duo is immensely in love with each other, the former got candid about not wanting to kiss his Red 2 co-stars without seeking approval from his wife first.
Bruce Willis Showed His PDA Scenes Script to Emma Heming Before Actually Performing It
The 68-year-old retired star, Bruce Willis in a 2013 interview opened up about several topics related to his then-new film, Red 2. He talked about a particular scene where he had to kiss his other female co-stars, Marie-Louis Parker, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
While it was a professional sequence given the demand of his profession, he told Chicago Times about already giving a heads-up to his wife, Emma Heming before performing the scene.
“I will say, ‘Look honey, it’s right here in the script. It says, ‘Now Bruce kisses Mary-Louise Parker. Now Bruce kisses Catherine Zeta-Jones.”
While he was thrilled to be a part of the film given the critical success of the first installment, it didn’t mean he would give his consent to almost everything.
Bruce Willis Denied Kissing John Malkovich in Red 2
The 12 Monkeys star was excited to work on that project alongside his co-star, John Malkovich but he would never have thought to kiss him! There was a sequence in the film with Malkovich in which the former had to kiss the latter.
On being asked to kiss a male co-star in the film, he simply denied following the script.
“They were trying to get me to kiss John Malkovich in this film because he is in a dress, but I said no because I wasn’t feeling it.”
The sequence was eventually removed from the film however he had nothing but good words for the latter. Having his company in the film made things interesting for him. The film garnered mixed reviews from the critics with the film grossing $148.1 million worldwide.
