“I’m just a really good actress that I pretend it’s not happening, but I really get it very bad. I go dizzy; my mouth gets dry.”
It was the very song that had often helped her in coping up with her condition.
“I have a song that I put in my head that helps me get through it. Which is “Lose Yourself.” I mean, you hear that you feel like you can do anything. So I hear it in my head.”
Her stage fear got the best of her when she ended up terrifying the former. She shared pictures of herself with the rapper, writing on her Instagram post,
“In these pictures it might look like @Eminem and I are best friends, but what really happened is as he was walking offstage and I was getting ready to walk onstage, I was so shocked to see him that I spilled water all over him.”
In her post, she further captioned about what exactly happened after she spat on him.
“If you examine our faces, I look mortified and he looks terrified of me- As I was trying to wipe it off I impulsively hugged him and I said “Nice to meet you Eminem- I’m a HUGE fan!” because I AM!”

Salma Hayek’s Stage Fear Prevented Her to Do Stage Work
Back in 2012, the Marvel actress talked about her insane stage fright that prevented her from getting into Broadway. She opened up about starring in a New York stage show but eventually pulled out from it as she was unable to overcome her weakness.
She shared with Evening Standard at the time,
“I have really bad stage fright. There have been a couple of times where I’ve said yes to stage projects but when we’ve got a little closer I couldn’t. Even when I’m speaking it’s severe, not just like little nerves. I almost did a musical on Broadway, but I just couldn’t. It would have been the worst musical ever.”
Thankfully, her phobia didn’t affect her on-screen performance as she once shared that she feels comfortable in front of the camera but can’t overcome her fear when it comes to performing on stage.
